I got dentures three years ago, and they have distorted and no longer fit properly. The dentist said he's never seen this happen in 50 years.

Clearly, the dentures are defective, and they won't warranty them.

They are charging me to make a new set. I should not have to pay for them.

Poor Patient care and rude, inept front office staff.

I scheduled an appointment and gave my insurance information at that time. The appt was then confirmed 3 different times by their office.

They day of appt I received a cryptic message stating they didn't have my insurance info but never said appt was being cancelled. I received another appt reminder 1 hrs prior to appt. While on way to appt got another message saying it had been cancelled because the call center out of country does scheduling and the office has nothing to do with the call center. Yet there is no way to schedule appt direct only through the call center.

What kind of BS is that? I took 1/2 day off to be at this appt. The woman I spoke with when I arrived at office(went anyways because I was pissed)never offered an apology just excuses, when I called her on that she raised her voice and got combative. Which in return only made me more mad.

A screaming match then ensued as she only continued escalating the situation. I wanted to speak to the office manager but could not because I would have to wait 10 minutes for her to get back from lunch, in which time I would have probably throttled the condescending idiot trying to excuse this office's poor client service. The office was filthy and in ill repair as well. Crumbs all over floor, carpeting was filthy, chairs in waiting room had rips in the vinyl or pieces pulled off completely, front counter looked like a covid breeding site...

This was all just first impressions of waiting area, it was pretty bad. I certainly won't be rescheduling. Even if the poor client services could have been remedied the office being so nasty was enough of a turn off for me. This place is a joke, a typical chain store medical office.

They have so many locations that losing clients is not a worry... They'll just overcharge a few dozen clients they do have to make up for all the ones they lose.

Typical corporate greed!! You suck Coast Dental!!

Inprovement

I went to the Tuskawilla office on Red Bug Rd December time frame.

I personally think the staff is great.

My issue is with reaching the office to talk to manager. I kept calling many times and was told high volume of calls.

They offered to leave your number and they will call you back. That was over 3 hours ago. Still no call back. I actually was going to refer Coast Dental to a friend.

But I can't now with the horrible way it is just to reach the office.

This is very unprofessional and I am sure your losing patients because of this error in your system.

Do better! Very disappointed in you!!

Stop the make an appointment for cleaning girl was very rude. Acted like she didn’t like her job will be going somewhere else. Will not go back there no more.

All we heard about it was her lunch break people calling in making her look bad according to her gave us a big attitude when we tried to make appointments

DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Went for a root canal late 2023.

Horrible experience but I'm a patient person & in Healthcare myself so I chalked it up to them being understaffed & overworked. I paid my deductible/coinsurance upfront as requested. Months later I began receiving outstanding balance notifications for $7. Then it changed to $236.

I knew this was a mistake. I went to the office, no one could help. I was told to call the main office. I tried multiple time, no one would return my calls.

Finally got some one. They told me they don't receive explanation of payments when the insurance company send their payment so I needed to contact my insurance company for answers. Sounds stupid but whatever... I got my EOB back from my insurance company just to find out that I over paid Coast & they overcharged my insurance.

So I have been trying for weeks now to get someone from the Coast office to settle this is issue. Of course, no help, no call backs. I was told twice that the district manager would call me. Nope!

Hasn't happened. So I have reported the fraud to my insurance and an investigation is pending. As I type this I've been on hold with Coasfor 38 minutes waiting on someone to answer.

Stay far far away from the place. Wish I could give negative star reviews

I visited them May 5, 2024 as of today July 23rd Ive yet to receive my dentures because that office is open one day a week I wasnt told this at my initial visit. They knew this at that time.

Coast Dental should be ashamed of themselves.

scheduled an emergency appointment. they made me wait 3 weeks.

I got an email and two text confirmations stating the time, date, and location. a week prior, I get a text telling me to confirm that I'll be attending the appointment. I do, and get a confirmation that I confirmed my appointment and everything is fine. I show up the day of and am told by the bored and slightly irritated receptionist that I don't have an appointment, they had cancelled it the week prior.

No calls, no emails, no texts received. When I showed her all the confirmations I had received she informed me that a lot of people have problems receiving their cancellation texts. (If you know people aren't receiving your cancellation texts, don't you think you should, oh I don't know... CALL or EMAIL them to make sure they know?)

I told her I needed to schedule another emergency appointment and my tooth wasnt going to last much longer and she told me that her next available EMERGENCY appointment wasnt for another 2 months...

If my tooth could wait 3 months total waiting time (once you included the month they made me wait to begin with) then it wouldnt be an emergency then... would it?

Don't waste your time scheduling anything with them. They'll just cancel it before you come in, not bother to tell you, then act like it's not their problem that you had to take time off work for an appointment that you apparently dont have anymore.

Preferred solution: the appointment I was originally promised and sooner than 2 months from now and a reimbursement for the money they made me loose by having to leave work early for an appointment they decided not to honor.

Went to get a tooth extraction in June 2023 in conyers ga , the lead dentist gave me clindamycin pills to take after a couple of days of taking them I started having stomach issues I explained that to her staff and the staff responded and said the the lead dentist instructed them to tell me to keep taking them until my follow. I ended up going to the hospital on July 25 they found out that I had c diff colitis caused by the medication it causes inflammation of the organs I am still ill from this because of the unprofessional dentist , I could had died from this she laughed about it I am seeking legal counsel clindamycin is a black box label warning drug , shes trifiling she asked me could she talk with my primary care doctor knowing this violates hippa policy on both parties

Scammers!!!

This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company. My husband was seen June of last year.

Originally the claim was billed listing me as the patient which was incorrect. We also paid $112 at the time of the visit. When we received the EOB from insurance it stated that we only owed $89. I tried to contact Coast Dental but kept being told that I would receive call back but never did.

I contacted my insurance hoping they could help but they stated they couldn't call the dentist directly. They did confirm we only owed $89 for the whole visit though. So we are due a refund of $23. After months and months of trying to get a manager" to call me back I gave up.

Now almost a year later were getting a bill for $66.88. Of course I tried calling again but got the same run around a manger will call me. I never received a call.

I also sent an email to the district manager nixza.baez@***.com but didn't receive an email back. We would like to request that the $66.88 be adjusted and a refund of $23 be sent.

Desde 2015 soy fiel paciente de esta oficina. Ahora presento un dolor en la Articulation Temporo Maxilar (TMJ). El 5 de Oct de 2021, el Dr.Koslen me pusu una corona en diente #20, demasiado grande.

Tengo garantia para la corona #20 que es mas grande que los dientes inferiores. La Dra Lu hizo "Proposed Treatment Plan" de cambiar la corona #20 y have un nuevo partial superior, ya que El Dr.Koslen me lo aplano y me lo allano.

Me han desgraciado la vida con UN dolor irreversible.

Irina me comunica que no pueden hacerme de Nuevo la corona #20 aunque Tengo garantia. Por ESO no quiero saber nada de ellos, no Tengo mas confianza porque Uno a otros se tapan El Mal trabajo.

It has over 400 complaints in the last 3 years and an F rating. The dentists are not board certified. They overcharge for services not needed - deep cleanings for example - and tell you need things like crowns when the tooth can just be filled. They will nickel and dime and charge you for things like mouthwash.

The work is shoddy and then they still bill you! You won't be able to reach anyone when you have a dispute.

After waiting more than a month for an appointment and informing the intake scheduler that I was pregnant and then filling out the paperwork in the office letting them know I was pregnant when I finally was in the back to start treatment, they wanted to do x-rays I informed her I was pregnant and then all of a sudden they cannot see me after they had already verified my insurance and got my payment for the visit Ive had dental work done in previous pregnancies. Ive never had this problem.

Dentist refused to prescribe me any type of antibiotics or anything to help with pain stating that I was pregnant so he would not risk his license.

Then after I told him I had been waiting over a month for this appointment he walked off from me . I would NOT recommend

So I called them up on Wednesday around 1:00 they try to get me to come in like within the hour I can't do it so they give me multiple appointment times for the next day I choose 9:00 a.m. need to say around 2:30 or so they call me to confirm I'm in meetings I don't confirm because I don't answer my phone.

About 1648 so 448 they call again same since you haven't called us we're canceling your appointment call us back to reschedule. I called back at 17:10 or 5:10 they're closed so neither say they canceled my appointment after I had already taken time off for that day well for that time.

Anyway. They don't care about your schedule of whatsoever they only care about one thing that's money greed cuz that's what most dental insurance is is greed because it's not insurance and unfortunately cause dental has way too many dentists that are around so when you try to find a dentist using your insurance company it's hard to find any that aren't associated with coastal dentist here in Tallahassee anyway even though I think they only have two or three offices it's like most of the dentist we're all associated with them horrible course insurance isn't insurance when it comes to dental it's only a discount plan I regret getting it

You’re a piece of garbage. They called you at 2:30 to confirm and you had over two hours to call back and did not.

They called back at 4:48 and you did not answer. So don’t go on and blame them for your shortcomings. Also, do not rant about the dentist. They were able to work you in at one pm same day and then 9am next.

That’s excellent service. Also, you had no loss of $35.

So I take it you work for coastal? Its a shame, yes, some people actually work and are not glued to the personal cell phone.

They had my employer info, they could have tried.

But Its a shame how you can not take criticism. The money lost was for missing work, so yes out of money, not exactly, out of sick time off.

What a horrible place this is! My daughter and I went as new patients and we were told when I made the appointments that we would just have cleanings, exam, and x-rays done first time which was fine.

We just switched dentists and only a a few months behind cleanings. They stated that we both needed a special gum cleaning that was not covered by insurance and I agreed to my daughter's and I and got hers done. I had to come back another day to do mine, but I decided not to do it and pay $109!! I don't have that kind of money to just spend on a special cleaning they say I must have.

They refused to change it to a regular cleaning and told me I had to get the special gum cleaning first to be able to proceed. I told them to just cancel my daughter and I out completely then. How disgusting is that?! That is not right to do to your patients.

That screams money hungry to me and I will surely find another dentist under my insurance. What a horrible way to practice and call yourselves professionals after being diagnosed by your virtual dentist and the hygienist stating I needed the gum treatment and they also gave me a referral to see an endodontist for a tooth I already had a root canal on.

Seems a bit much just to cap a tooth. ALL ABOUT THE MONEY SADLY.

Refund

Dont use this company. They are very hard to deal with financial refunds.

Waiting for 4 months now. They charged me and then insurance paid. Cant get my credit card charge credited back. No one can help me.

Have contacted them about 20 times. Im now getting help from consumer protection agencies.
